TERMS AND CONDITIONS  2023

Please carefully read the Heartbreaker Stud Ltd terms and conditions before using any service(s) provided by Heartbreaker Stud Ltd. If you wish to purchase any product or service made available by Heartbreaker Stud LTD, you must accept and agree to the provisions of this agreement.

By purchasing from or using any service(s) provided by Heartbreaker Stud LTD, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these service(s), you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such service(s). Any participation in this service(s) will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

  • Lestingdale Application Process 
  • Lestingdale is available at Stud in the UK to proven or graded mares only. 
  • All enquiries can be made by either telephone (07817627946) or email ([email protected]). 
  • Please complete and return the Heartbreaker Stud (Lestingdale) application form via email to [email protected].
  • Once received, your application will be reviewed, and a decision made within 24 hrs. 
  • Once approved, any semen is only to be used to inseminate the mare detailed on the (Lestingdale) application form. 
  • Ordering Semen 
  • Your exact requirements and time constraints will be discussed in your consultation and added to your invoice. 
  • After approval, a payment invoice will be generated. Please check and ensure all details are correct prior to payment. 
  • Once payment is received semen can be dispatched within 24hrs if required. 
  • Payments 
    • The current stud fee of £800 plus VAT (£160) is payable prior to the first insemination. 
    • All courier and collection costs shall be borne by the breeder unless stated as inclusive of price by Heartbreaker Stud LTD at the time of purchase. 
    • A covering certificate will not be released to the respective breeding association until the stud fee and all associated costs including stud, veterinary and courier fees have all been satisfied in full. 
    • A collection fee of £75.00 plus VAT (£14.50) and courier costs of £25.00 are payable by the breeder. 
    • Payment can be made by BACS transfer to the following bank account using your invoice number as the transfer reference.

  • Shipping and Postage Policies
  • Payment of courier costs are the responsibility of the respective breeder unless quoted inclusive of price by Heartbreaker Stud LTD. 
  • If not inclusive a separate courier quote will be offered by Heartbreaker Stud LTD. 
  • The breeder may arrange their own courier; however, all details must be annotated on the Heartbreaker Stud LTD application form. 
  • If instructed as the courier, any damage or loss on transit will be the responsibility of Heartbreaker Stud LTD.
  • If an independent courier is instructed, any damage or loss on transit will be the responsibility of the breeder/independent company. 
  • Courier fees may vary if shipping within the UK, depending on location. 
  • Courier fees may vary if shipping internationally, depending on location. 
  • Courier fees along with all other costs must be settled in full prior to dispatch. 
  • Live Foal Guarantee 
  • A Live Foal Guarantee is offered to the same mare (for that season) providing a vet’s certificate is produced stating the mare is not in foal, has not foaled or that the foal survived less than 24 hours. 
  • The Live Foal Guarantee is for a 24 hour old foal that is standing and nursing. 
  • The Live Foal Guarantee may be deemed void, if in the stallion’s owner’s opinion, the mare is neglected or in poor condition during pregnancy, is exposed to unacceptable/unnecessary risk or returned to vigorous work. 
  • If the mare is sold during pregnancy, the Live Foal Guarantee will be considered void and will no longer apply. 
  • A collection fee of £75.00 plus VAT (£14.50) and courier costs of £25.00 are payable for returning mares for every insemination. 
  • Semen is supplied on a stud fee basis for one pregnancy. In the event of embryo transfer where two embryos are flushed and implanted a stud fee of 50% will be charged before a covering certificate is issued. 
  • No monetary refund will be offered. 
  • Legalities
  • All mares for insemination must be approved by Heart breaker Stud LTD. 
  • Only the approved and designated mare is to be inseminated. 
  • Heartbreaker Stud holds no responsibility for any foal after 24 hours’ old, standing and suckling. 
  • If instructed as the courier, any damage or loss on transit will be the responsibility of Heartbreaker Stud LTD.
  • If an independent courier is instructed, any damage or loss on transit will be the responsibility of the breeder/independent company.
